Jilly Walsh seeks inspiration from natural elements and finds particular joy in the presentation of food on paper, ceramics and linens. She has designed ceramics for Henri Bendel, Gumps, Mariposa, Scully & Scully and Le Cirque, a celebrated Manhattan restaurant. Designed by Jilly Walsh, our ceramics are individually hand-painted at a family-owned factory in Deruta, Italy. For six centuries, the artisans of this Umbrian hill town have produced a distinctive form of ceramics known as Majolica. Jilly has brought her own designs to this tradition and the steady hands of generations of practice bring these forms to life. |
